The TKS 4 and TKS 4/F transformer terminals are intended to be directly mounted to a coil with integrated chambers, or to be mounted on aluminium mounting rails 10x2. The TKS 4 and TKS 4/F are available as 1-, 2-, and 3-pole units, as block versions in the standard orange color. Customer-specific colors are available upon request.
The TKS 4 screw connection and the TKS 4/F screw-/flat-blade connection (2.8/6.3 mm) are available. The transformer terminals feature the proven clamping yoke system which guarantees a vibration-resistant connection. Touch safety in compliance with VBG 4 is ensured because of the closed housing design (material is polyamide PA 6.6 UL 94-V0).
The MC SB 7,5 | PMC SB 7,5 quick marking system is used for labeling the transformer terminals.
The solder hook opens to the side and the wide opening of the housing lid stays in the open position above the screwdriver insertion point (see left picture). These two factors allow the coil wires to be conveniently and quickly soldered.
This new series was developed in cooperation with leading transformer manufacturers and offers all technical specifications required on the market. The TKS 4 are available in 1-3-pole blocks, giving more stability on the mounting rail. We would like especially point out the voltage range of 800V/IEC and 600V/cCSAus that is achieved independent from the construction layout of the transformer.
Another big feature for the production of transformers, giving a real benefit to the customers before all of our competitors, is the possibility of locking the lids above the solder connections of the terminals in the open position. This simple feature brings a big benefit for the workers and time saving into the production process, because it eases and quickens the soldering of the transformer coils to the terminals.
